Pictures at one month!

Dear Family:

Here are some more pictures that we took a few days ago! She's changed quite a lot in one month. Analia took her down to the doctor's office today - first time she's seen a doctor since the birth. She weighed in today at 11 lbs, 3 oz......hmmm. That weight reminds us of when Benjamin was born - he was 11 lbs 3 oz. Hard to image a baby being that big, but we had a nice reminder today at the doctor's office that Benjamin was indeed that big when he was born!

On a more serious note, it's hard not to contemplate about life upon this earth after seeing the big accident over the weekend on the 5 freeway / 14 freeway. I go that way to work almost every day, so I can't help but think about how fragile life is. They interviewed on the spanish channel the wife of one of the people who died in that horrible accident (6 semi trucks and 7 cars - or so I've read), and it was a really sad story because she had a car full of 3 kids, young kids, maybe our kids ages, and her she lost her husband in this freak accident. Yes, I am reminded about how fragile life is, but I can't help stress the fact that if we are living the gospel daily as the Savior would have us do, we have absolutely no need to fear if in fact the moment that we need to pass through the veil should come upon us. Might we take the time to cherish these moments with our family and loved ones, and try not to take for granted the blessing that the Lord has given us to be together, here, in this wonderful country with the ones that we love!
