Here's a video of Grace cheering at halftime of the AF High football game last night (Oct 5). She worked hard all week at a cheer clinic at the high school, and was able to perform at halftime. It was raining lightly and pretty cold, but Grace was unaffected by the weather- she did great! After I talked my way onto the sidelines, she had already done a couple of cheers. I did catch the last one, which is posted here. In the video, she is dead center in the front row, with light grey pants. When the AF cheerleaders join them, Grace has her arm around the girl in the middle (she is on the cheerleader's left side) and does the "Funky Chicken" cheer. It's awesome. We have a little cheerleader in the making- she really wanted to do the clinic, and was very excited to be able to perform for everyone. It was awesome!

Our family is well. Jen has been struggling a bit lately with back and kidney pain related to the pregnancy, but is otherwise in good health. All the kids are doing well in school as well. Grace and Sophie are both in dance, and Sophie is in gymnastics. Spencer is playing soccer (he's a midfielder and an excellent defender) as well as his first try at flag football (he's doing great and loving it).

All in all we are happy and healthy, and hope this blog finds each of you in similar circumstances. It is, unfortunately, snowing for the 2nd consecutive Saturday, which is a bummer. We might live in Utah, but we're still Cali beach kids at heart.

Love you guys. AW
