SHAUNALIA IS HERE!

Well, it finally happened..............

Shaunalia is now the newest member of our family, weighing in at 8 lbs, 3 oz. She was probably induced for only about 3 hours, so it wasn't too long. However, to make a long story short, the Anasteisioloist (don't hate me for my mis-spelling) was "unavailable" when we asked for the Epidural. He was called into ER for some big emergency and was gone for about (4) hours, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 pm. Analia decided that she wanted the Epidual when she was about (6) cm dilated, maybe around 1:30 or so. Well, he didn't come, and the nurse gave Analia a dose of painkiller, which lasted about 15 mins or so. It made her sleepy, but it soon wore off at the worse time. Therefore, as you can guess - by the time the Anasteisiologist made it to her room, she was already at (10) cm, ready to start pushing! Pretty much a "Natural Child Birth". It was extremely difficult for me to hear her screaming in pain for about 1.5 hours, so I tried to haggle the nurses to give her more doses of painkillers or get the Anasteisologist. Nonetheless, we are quite frustrated with all of this, she did NOT need to suffer as she did. But her doctor was great and he delivered the baby at about 3:29 PM. Mom is doing MUCH better now. Jacob, Benjamin and I will visit later tonight perhaps, or tomorrow for sure.

Anyways......a HAPPY HAPPY DAY FOR OUR FAMILY!
