Thought you all would enjoy a closer look at this handsome devil.... it's amazing how well Dad is doing and how much better he looks! We're all so blessed to have witnessed a miracle in our family- Dad's recovery is remarkable, and he is making strides each week towards a full recovery.
On this 6th anniversary of 9/11, my thoughts have been drawn to the families that have been devastated by loss of loved ones from this tragedy. I am also deeply grateful for the sacrifices that the men and women of the armed forces make each day to protect and serve us here at home. They're away from their loved ones, their wives and children, so that we can sleep peacefully at night. I thank Heavenly Father for the blessing of freedom, of living here in this great country, and for the privilege I have to live in peace and happiness while the world continues to struggle through conflict and war. We are all very blessed indeed.
With that in mind, I am grateful for the blessing of having Big Joe with us at the 1 year anniversary of his surgery- and for the closeness this experience has brought to our family, and for the perspective I've gained while wading through Dad's struggles with him. We love you Dad! You and mom are in our prayers daily, and we know the Lord continues to speed your recovery along. We know your surgery will go well tomorrow- you are in our prayers.
We love all you guys. Jared and Analia: your baby is adorable. Glad mother and daughter are doing so well. Thanks for the photos and vids.
